Aboriginal Resource & Management Support Unit 1800 679 199 We work with Aboriginal children's services in South Australia. Together, we want to see Aboriginal children grow strong and healthy in their families, their communities and their culture. We work with Directors, staff, management committee members, Community Council members, parents and Community representatives. Support may be provided directly through our agency or accessed from other organisations or individuals.

We can come to your service any where in South Australia at a time to suit you. Aboriginal Services Meetings Three times each year we hold 2-day meetings for Directors, Coordinators, Management Committee Members and staff of Aboriginal Child Care, Out of School Hours Care and Crche Services. These meetings usually include guest speaker/s, training / professional development sessions, displays of resources and time to network and share ideas, concerns and experiences. At each meeting decisions about future meeting dates, speakers and training sessions can be made together as a group. Aboriginal Services Meetings are interesting, informative and fun. Training We can provide training on most aspects of running a child care service and also support services to access culturally aware training from other agencies and organisations. Websites Visit www.ipsusa.org.au, www.armsu.org.au or www.networksa.org.au for quick access to information and resources, plus useful links. Publications Newsletter published bi-annually and resource papers published as required Our goal is to ensure that good quality, current, culturally appropriate advice, support, resources and training is available to Aboriginal children's services. These include child care centres, Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) services, Multifunctional Aboriginal Children's Services (MACS), crches and innovative care services.
